The Ukrainian Baptist Church of Chicago baptized three persons in July 2019.
The Ukrainian Baptist Church of Chicago rejoiced during the baptism of three persons on Saturday, July 27, 2019. In a lake under a sunny sky, Roksolana Vasilishina, Michael Povh and Margaryta Nalyvayko testified to their faith in Jesus Christ as their personal savior.
Pastor Aleksandr Kalinin performed the rite with assistance from deacon Vasily Povh. A service was held prior to the act of baptism, with music provided by the church brass band under the direction of Aleksandr Antonyuk. The annual church picnic was held afterward.
