From September 2nd to 4th, 2022, the 76th Congress of the Ukrainian Baptist Convention in the USA was held. The convention was hosted by the First Ukrainian Baptist Church in Minneapolis, where Ruslan Kozlyuk is the responsible pastor. Valeriy Antonyuk, the head of the Union of EHB of Ukraine, was invited as the main preacher. The theme of the congress was to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
A significant event of the congress was the adoption of amendments to the charter of the Association of Churches by delegates from the churches. The Board of the Association asked brother Alex Harbuziuk to translate it into English, which he did in the best possible way, for which we thank him very much.
During the congress, seminars were conducted by: Valeriy Antonyuk – Proclaiming the Gospel through good works; Mike Golay – Preaching the Gospel from a Jewish Perspective; Sergiy Kovalchuk – The main mission of the church is the continuation of the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ; Mykhailo Cherenkov – Proclaiming the Gospel in conditions of war; Valentyn Vavrynyuk – Proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ through social networks and modern technologies; Svitlana Khrystenko – Proclaiming the Gospel is the main goal of raising children; Yevhenii Konstantinik – the Church that proclaims the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth.
